Riverfront Village Park Project – Online Survey

Date: May 4, 2017

PEORIA, Ill. – The City of Peoria is seeking additional input from residents regarding the Riverfront Village Project. The City plans to demolish the existing Riverfront Village buildings, parking structure and deck in the Fall of 2017, and convert the area to a park. The project area is bounded by the Illinois River on the east, the clock tower and turnaround on the north, the multiuse path on the west, and the River Station parking lot on the south. Conversion to a park will occur in stages, as funding is available.

A public meeting was held on April 27th to present two concepts for a future park and to gather public input. Attendees were encouraged to complete a brief survey. If you were unable to attend the meeting, did not complete the survey at the meeting, or would like to submit additional comments, you are invited to complete the survey online at:

This survey will close on Thursday, May 18th. Opportunities for additional input will be
available after that time.
