PEORIA – This week’s news that Caterpillar is moving headquarters out of Peoria has surprised the entire community. The Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce/CEO Council, the Greater Peoria Economic Development Council, the Peoria Area Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Peoria Downtown Development Corporation want to remind everyone that, while this is unfortunate news, Peoria will continue to stay a strong and vibrant city. The three organizations will be holding a press conference on THURSDAY at 2:30PM to emphasize this message. Organization leaders will be speaking at the conference. All members of the media are welcome to attend.
