The mission of the Greater Peoria Black Leadership Initiative is to
identify, cultivate, and support a leadership pipeline of qualified
Black candidates in partnership with the business/non-profit
communities, as well as advocate for their placement on
boards of directors throughout the Greater Peoria region to achieve
Black representation consistent with the demographics of the
region. The CEO Council has voted to support this effort through
connecting organizations and candidates for leadership
opportunities to improve the overall equity in the region.
