Bradley University And Eureka College Listed as Best Colleges for 2017

Bradley University and Eureka College have earned national recognition.

Bradley University has been recognized by U.S. News and World Report as one of the Midwest’s top universities in their 2017 list of America’s Best Colleges. Bradley placed 6th in the region.

Bradley remains among the top ten regional universities for veterans, and the undergraduate engineering program continues to rise in the U.S. News rankings, placing 25th nationwide.

Eureka College was ranked as one of the Best Regional Colleges, placing second in Illinois, and 26th in Midwest schools focusing on undergrad Liberal Arts programs.

Eureka is one of just five Illinois colleges to receive the recognition.

The U.S. News and World Report’s rankings are based on data gathered from and about each school in up to 16 areas related to academic excellence. Each indicator is assigned a weight and the colleges are ranked based on their composite weighted score.

A majority of a school’s ranking is based on a formula that measures academic quality. The data for the 2107 edition of Best Colleges was gathered in the spring and summer of 2016.
